Gnezdovo helmet, Rus / Smolensk region 9th-10th century. This helmet is characterized by a large number of rivets. A very similar specimen, but with a nasal part, was discovered in Prague / bojna. Helmet for Slavic / Rus warrior.. These helmets were made of iron and were designed to protect the wearer from arrows and other weapons. They are characterized by a high, conical shape and usually had a nasal attached at the front. Gnezdovo helmets have been found in graves, and they are thought to have been used by knights and warriors during battles. They are a symbol of strength and bravery, and have become popular among collectors of ancient weaponry.
