The Corinthian helmet, originating in ancient Greece around the 7th century BCE in the city-state of Corinth, is an iconic piece of ancient Greek armor closely associated with hoplite soldiers. This helmet, made primarily of bronze, offered comprehensive head protection while leaving the eyes, nose, and mouth exposed. Its distinctive design featured rounded contours, cheek guards, and often a horsehair crest.
