The Houndskull Helmet, also known as the Hundsgugel, was a popular style of medieval helmet used in the 14th and early 15th centuries across Europe. It was a type of visor bascinet, characterized by its elongated, pointed visor, which resembled a dog’s snout—hence the name “Houndskull.”
